Open Door Valet (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the GSeat Pro mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

Information We Collect

Personal Information

When you register for and use GSeat Pro, we may collect:

• Contact Information: Name, email address, phone number
• Account Credentials: Username and password
• Employment Information: Work schedule, assignment history, earnings
• Device Information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers

Location Information

With your consent, we may collect precise location data to:

• Verify check-in and check-out at work locations
• Display nearby assignments
• Provide navigation to work sites

Usage Data

We automatically collect information about how you interact with the app, including features used, time spent, and actions taken.

Health and Activity Data (Optional)

With your explicit consent, GSeat Pro reads step count data from your device's Health Connect (Android) or HealthKit (iOS) integration to power the in-app valet gamification feature (the LiveStepCounter widget and shift-step badge rewards).

• What we read: Aggregate daily step counts and activity-recognition state during your active shift only. We do not read heart rate, blood pressure, sleep, calorie, location-history, or any other health/fitness data.
• What we use it for: Display your real-time step count during a shift, award gamification badges and points based on shift activity, and contribute to leaderboard rankings among other valets.
• Where it is stored: Aggregate counts are stored on our servers in the valet_step_logs table tied to your valet account. Raw health data never leaves your device — we only see the aggregate count.
• Who we share it with: No one. Step data is never sold, never shared with clients or third parties, and never used for advertising or profiling. It is used solely for the in-app gamification feature.
• How to opt out: Revoke Health Connect or HealthKit permissions in your device's settings at any time, OR disable the LiveStepCounter feature in the GSeat Pro app under Settings → Gamification. The app continues to function normally without it; you simply won't earn step-based badges.
• Retention: Step logs are retained for the duration of your active employment plus 12 months for gamification history; thereafter purged. You may request earlier deletion via the contact channel below.

How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Provide and maintain the GSeat Pro service
• Process work assignments and track attendance
• Calculate and process earnings and payouts
• Send notifications about assignments and updates
• Improve our services and user experience
• Comply with legal obligations

Information Sharing

We may share your information with:

• Clients: Work location managers may see your name and work status
• Service Providers: Third-party services that help us operate (payment processors, cloud hosting)
• Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including:

• Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
• Secure cloud infrastructure
• Access controls and authentication
• Regular security assessments

Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Work history and earnings data may be retained longer for legal and tax compliance purposes.

GSeat Pro is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy in the app and updating the “Last Updated” date.
